Lip Art: Lakrits

This lip looks like it has a salt licorice and raspberry flavour to it. I think I’m gonna start bringing in different sweets in to my lip shoots as well. Need to have a stroll in a sweet shop. I’m quite inspired at the moment, mostly to use props, or recreate different items into make up. I think it is because I’ve been away from home and seen nature and different places.

I did this one so long ago, I can’t remember what I used.

Lip Art: Darkest stone

I don’t retouch my pictures very much, maybe I change the light and sharpness. That is cause I want you guys to see my make up work and not my retouch skills (as they are very poor). The second reason is that I hate computers and want to spend as little time in front of them as possible, and I’m very bad at retouching.

Here I’ve Used

Black Core Crayon from LH Cosmetics

Nyx Suede Lipgloss in Foul Mouth, Oh Put It On, Subversive Socialite

Lipglass from MAC

Lip Art: Shine Bright Like A Dimond

Sometimes you can’t force yourself to push your creativity a certain way, the best results are when you just follow your flow. This week I’ve done so many Lips and I keep thinking to myself that I should try something else, but I have so many ideas for lips, so why not just go for it when it’s what my creativity wants to do?
I keep thinking about creativity, how it works and how you get it. For me it always comes in waves, most after I’ve worked a lot, and I’ve had my rest. I need to unpack everything and make the entire flat into my workspace (sorry boyfriend) but i need to see everything, and that’s how most of my ideas comes to me, I see it and want to try it out.

For some looks I don’t want to tell you what I’ve used, not to keep it for myself, but to keep it a bit of a mystery of “how the hell did she do that” Does that make sense?

Lip Art: Face Lace

Face Lace is a company that basically make stickers suited for your face, to make your face into a masterpiece within five seconds. Face Lace is made by Phillis Cohen, a fashion illustratior and a make up artist. I’ve seen her on master classes a few times, she talks about make up and the face structure on a level I’ve never been close to. She’s really cool, I really look up to her.

This one is called Featherette is £9.95 and you could get them from their webiste
